Microneedling

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that uses a device with fine needles to create tiny, controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These micro-injuries trigger the body’s natural wound-healing response, which stimulates collagen and elastin production. These are two essential proteins that keep skin firm, smooth, and youthful.

This treatment is ideal for addressing fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, enlarged pores, stretch marks, and even improving overall skin tone and texture. It’s a powerful anti-aging tool that works from the inside out, making your skin look plumper, tighter, and more radiant over time.

What to Expect in the Treatment Room:

First, your treatment begins with a consultation where your skin is assessed, and your goals are discussed. The skin is then thoroughly cleansed and prepped for treatment.A topical numbing cream is applied for 20 to 30 minutes to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure.Once numb, a microneedling pen or device is gently glided over the skin. The depth of the needles can be adjusted depending on your skin concerns and treatment area. You may feel slight pressure or vibration, but it should not be painful. After the microneedling, a specialized serum such as hyaluronic acid, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), or Salmon DNA is applied. The tiny channels created allow for deeper penetration of these healing and rejuvenating serums.A calming mask or LED therapy may be applied afterward to help reduce redness and boost healing.

What to Expect After Treatment:

Immediately after, your skin may appear red or feel like a mild sunburn. This is completely normal and usually subsides within 24 to 48 hours.Over the next few days, you might experience tightness, dryness, or mild flaking as your skin begins to heal and renew itself. Some clients notice a glow as early as a few days post-treatment.In the weeks that follow, collagen production increases, with continued improvement in texture, firmness, and overall skin health. For best results, a series of three to six treatments spaced four to six weeks apart is typically recommended.

Boosted Results:

To elevate your microneedling results, you can enhance your treatment with targeted add-ons that deliver deeper nourishment and faster rejuvenation.Salmon DNA Serum is packed with omega-3s, peptides, and antioxidants that deeply hydrate, repair, and brighten the skin. It promotes elasticity and cellular regeneration, making it perfect for clients concerned with dullness, dehydration, or early signs of aging.PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) uses your body’s own growth factors extracted from a small blood draw. When applied post-microneedling, PRP accelerates healing, boosts collagen, and helps improve the appearance of scars, fine lines, and uneven texture.Stem Cell Serums are rich in bioactive compounds that support tissue repair and skin regeneration. They help reduce inflammation, improve elasticity, and provide a long-term anti-aging effect. Stem cells are ideal for mature or damaged skin that needs deeper revitalization. Each of these add-ons can be tailored to your skin’s needs and layered with microneedling to amplify your glow, improve recovery, and enhance long-term results.
